De belleza singular / A singular beauty

Se trata de una serie de cinco fotografías, todas primerísimos primeros planos del rostro femenino. La luz directa hacia la cara y los desenfoques, recuerdan a los retratos pictorialistas de Julia Margaret Cameron que nos remiten a los origenes de la fotografía cuando autores experimentales de la talla de Muybridge o Marey, junto con los daguerrotipistas, trabajaban las posibilidades no sólo técnicas sino también estéticas de las posibilidades artísticas del arte de la fotografía. Las velocidades de obturación lentas, el alto contraste lumínico y los desenfoques como transformaciones, plasman el paso de un sentimiento a otro, los planos cortos de la cara ayudan a entender las distintas emociones. Las posibilidades no sólo técnicas sino también estéticas son capaces de hacernos pasar de un sentimiento a otro.
Una estética sugerente, en la que la sensualidad prima por encima del resto de variables, erotismo, movimiento pausado, sutileza … enriqueciendo cada movimiento y cada gesto.

This is a serie of five pictures, all of them are foreground about feminine faces. Direct light toward the face and blur, remember pictorial portraits of Julia Margaret Cameron that we refered to the origins of photography when experimental authors as Muybridge and Marey, working not only the technical possibilities but also the possibilities of artistic photography. The slow shutter speeds, high-contrast lighting and blur as changes reflect the transition from one feeling to another, the ups of the face help to understand the different emotions. Possibilities not only technical but also aesthetic can make sense to switch from one another. Suggesting an aesthetic in which sensuality premium over the remaining variables, sex, slow movement, subtlety ... enriching every gesture and every movement.
